Kirsten & Matt :: Chesapeake Bay Beach Club Wedding

Kirsten and Matt hosted a gorgeous late summer wedding at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club.  I met them through Jen and Ben, so I knew we were going to be a great fit!

The Wedding

Kirsten prepped at the couples’ home in Annapolis while Matt shared drinks at Sailor Oyster Bar a few blocks away.  They chose to not have a wedding party so all their friends and families could feel included!  We did a first look out front of their home then headed across the bridge to the Beach Club.  There was an issue with the elevator so the fire department was out front of the building just as we were about to do the first look.  I’m so glad Kathy snapped a photo of Matt and the firemen!

The ceremony was stunning with gorgeous evening light streaming through the room adjacent to the Sunset Ballroom.  A good friend officiated the marriage ceremony and both Kirsten’s parents walked her down the aisle.  Matt’s nana was the absolute sweetest and kissed his hand as he made his way to the front of the room.

Rhonda Kaplan did a phenomenal job with the floral arrangements!  I love the bright and bold colors, which popped against the crisp white of Kirsten’s gown and the Sunset Ballroom.  The DC transit band rocked the reception for an awesome dance party!  I cannot say enough wonderful things about Kirsten and Matt and their guests.  It was a gorgeous wedding day at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club.
