NYE Herrington on the Bay Wedding

Mallory and Scott chose New Year’s Eve to host their wedding celebration at Herrington on the Bay in North Beach, Maryland. After meeting them, you immediately understand why they chose this date and location! They are  both full of laughs and a ton of raw emotion. It was a beautiful event to be a part of and to document.

Up dos for I dos styled the hair and makeup for the bride and bridesmaids. Carried Away Florals designed stunning floral arrangements which matched the gold and black tie theme perfectly. Mallory’s gold shimmer bridal gown from Mary’s Designer Bridal was exquisite and fit her beautifully. The details and the rings from Zachary’s Jewelers added to the bling effect of the evening!

The girls and guys both prepped separately at cottages on the property overlooking the waterfront. We did a first look in the courtyard, first with Mallory’s dad then with Scott while the bridesmaids watched from the balcony. There were tears all around!

We took family and wedding party portraits in the gardens before photographing the couple on the pier before sunset.

The ceremony archway had hand-painted ornaments of their dogs so they could be a part of the celebration. Following the indoor ceremony in the Yacht Club at Herrington on the Bay, all the guests went outside to watch the surprise fireworks display!

After the fireworks it was time to head back into the Yacht Club for dinner and dancing until midnight! Herrington on the Bay provided the catering and DJ Torpedo kept the dance floor packed and provided video of the day. The countdown was absolutely epic!

What a night! New Year’s Eve weddings are in a league of their own. It was a lot of work for the venue and couple to plan, but it was so worth it! Congratulations and Happy New Year!
