Lorin & Casey :: Backyard MicroWedding

One year ago on Labor Day weekend 2019, before I had even heard the term ‘microwedding’, Lorin and Casey threw a beautiful, intimate backyard microwedding at their home. Being one of the top wedding planners in the area, I knew Lorin would design an exquisite event!

Lorin is co-owner of Celebrations, LLC based in Owings Mills, Maryland. I have had the honor of working with her and her partner, Sharon, for many glorious weddings. To be welcomed into her personal life on such a special day, was beyond heart warming. Lorin and Casey are a perfect match! To see them laugh with each, move each other to tears with their vows, and show enormous love and respect for their guests was a joy to be around. They are such a loving, grounded and fun couple.

The decor was spectacular! Bright summer citrus was the theme and fit perfectly with the last weekend of summer. Butterflies were placed in the floral arrangements as homage to a loved one who passed. Lorin and Casey had a beautiful ceremony in their backyard with 20 of their closest friends and family. Afterwards they dined at Linwoods Restaurant. The following day was the big celebration! The couple threw a casual backyard pool party and invited extended family and friends. I absolutely loved every minute and was so grateful to be a part of this incredible union!
