Kelsey & Peter :: Great Oak Manor Wedding

On the first day of June we celebrated Kelsey and Peter’s wedding at Great Oak Manor on the eastern shore of Maryland.  Kelsey chose lovely pastel colors for the decor which were perfectly matched by a beautiful sunset that evening.

Preparations

I love this venue because everything you need is on site!  Great Oak Manor has a beautiful waterfront setting with plenty of rooms for each couple to get ready and for your guests to stay overnight.  Up do’s for I do’s styled the girls while the guys played a quick video game lol.  There are so many special moments from the preparations that day it is hard for me to choose just a few!

The Ceremony

The ceremony arch created by Monteray Farms is one of my favorites to date!  The floral arrangements are the artwork that ties the entire decor together sometimes so it’s important to choose a studio that is top notch!  I also have to give a big shout out to the ring bearer who, despite his fear, fully carried out his duties.  What a courageous little guy!

Portraits

The weather was perfect as well as the lighting and sunset that day.  Add a fun couple and wedding party and you have the best equation for portraits.  I absolutely love how these turned out!

Reception

Now for the party!  This crew knows how to have a good time and Kelsey was radiating pure joy twirling in her stunning gown.  The reception ended with an amazing sparkler exit and a ton of cheering by the guests.  We are so honored to be a part of Kelsey and Peter’s love story.  We love working with the following vendors as well to make any wedding day a dream: Great Oak Manor, Second Photographer Maria Penayo, Just Ink on Paper Invitations, Up do’s for I do, C&J Entertainment, Monteray Farms, Occasions Catering, Eastern Shore Tents and Events, and Little Village Bakery.
