Historic Inns of Annapolis Wedding

In early November, Brittany and Jake held the most beautiful wedding celebration in Annapolis. The couple prepped at different locations and saw each other for the first time down the aisle at Saint Mary’s Church Annapolis. Brittany and her bridesmaids got ready at her parents home in Edgewater while Jake and the groomsmen stayed at the Governor Calvert House on State Circle in Annapolis where the wedding reception took place later that day. Jake’s suit jacket was lined with a map of Annapolis and the Chesapeake Bay! His two brothers and Brittany’s two brothers along with several friends were a part of the wedding party. Brittany’s robe and clutch has lace from her mother’s wedding gown. She also attached a pin with photos of her grandparents to her bouquet. She gave her dad a photo of the two of them to attach to his tie. It was a beautiful moment when she saw her dad the morning of the wedding!

After the ceremony at Saint Mary’s Church the couple rode in a Rolls Royce to meet their wedding party at City Dock for some golden hour portraits. We stopped at the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel then headed to the waterfront. The light was perfect and the weather warm for early November. This crew was nonstop laughs and were so happy for Brittany and Jake! The couple took a few romantic moments before getting back in the Rolls to head to the reception.

Brittany’s tattoo on her shoulder was a quote from her grandmother in her grandmother’s writing and they incorporated it into the wedding decor. The table numbers had photos of the couple at that age. It is such a cute idea! The gifts were lottery scratch off tickets for their guests to ‘get lucky’ at the end of the night! The reception was full of happy tears from the most moving speeches and first dance and ended with a fabulous sparkler exit. Leslie from Wedding Savvy coordinated the event beautifully.
