Catherine & Nicholas :: Governor Calvert House, Annapolis Wedding

When I first met Catherine and her mom I immediately felt like one of the family!  The couple was married at Saints Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church and kept alive many familial and religious traditions.  They included the veil which was worn by the bride’s aunt and sister at their weddings, the crowns worn during the ceremony were made by the bride’s aunt, and Koufetta (candy covered almonds) handed out after the ceremony.  Even the gorgeous cake was made by a close family friend!  The preparations and reception were held at one of my favorite Annapolis wedding venues, the Governor Calvert House.  Historic Inns of Annapolis have their own caterers, who always treat other vendors with kindness and respect (and great food!).  Hair and make-up creations by the talented Halie Holly and the bride’s stunning gown designed by Allure Bridals Romance Collection.  The day would not be complete without florals by An Elegant Affair, and music by DJ Chris Temple of C & J Entertainment.  Maria and I had an extraordinary time photographing this wedding and are forever touched by these wonderful folks!
