Annie & Cory :: Riverside on the Potomac

The couple, the families, and the vendors at Annie and Cory’s wedding all have a special place in my heart.  Not only had I photographed the weddings of Cory’s sister and cousin, but my good friend and colleague, Margo of Bright Occasions wedding planning, was coordinating the entire event.  Courtney and the rest of her team kept the day running perfectly.  Kevin Joel from Sweetheart Cinema was working hard the entire event make sure they had the best film coverage of the festivities.  The couple’s uncle, Chris Laich of Chris Laich Music Services, was my first introduction to this wonderful family.  The venue, Riverside on the Potomac, is absolutely stunning and provided the perfect backdrop for this wonderful couple’s wedding day.

Cutest award goes to ring bearer and flower girl, who had to be coaxed down the aisle with m&m’s.  Whatever works!

Look at this room!  Edge Floral outdid themselves in decorating the barn for the reception.  Not pictured, but Smokin Willy‘s catered the event with Ah-mazing BBQ.

Both Annie and Cory’s fathers had passed and the nods to their memory were incorporated throughout the wedding day.  From the charm on the bridal bouquet, to the garter made of ties, their fathers’ memory was ever present.

We tried to get photos with the horses, but they weren’t having it.

Lauren and Paddy’s wedding took place in 2014 and the rest is history!

Brittany and Jeff were married the following year at the Annapolis Waterfront Marriott and are now expecting!
