Historic Inns of Annapolis Weddings

You can’t get closer to the heart of the city than a wedding at Historic Inns of Annapolis.  Couples have the option of selecting from several different locations, but my favorite is the Governor Calvert House.

This historic home is ideal for couples who want to integrate the historic architecture of one of Annapolis’s most significant buildings into the fabric of their wedding. Whether you’re looking for a private affair of just a few of your closest friends and family or a reception of 400 guests, the Governor Calvert House can accommodate your guests with style and grace. The Governor’s Hall can be arranged for a wedding ceremony as well as a reception and features an adjoining terrace perfect for a cocktail hour. Smaller weddings will feel right at home in the Jonas Green Room, which also features an outdoor patio. This magnificent venue is truly one of the most unique in Maryland.

As an added bonus, we love to sneak the couple outside at dusk for some beautiful night portraits outside the Inn and on the grounds of the Maryland State House.  It not only provides you with stunning portraits, but a moment for just the two of you to reflect on the day.  Weddings move quickly so we love to provide a moment when you can take a breath and soak it all in.  We work very closely with Michael and the Historic Inns of Annapolis team so the day goes smoothly and you and your guests have a blast!
